Jul. 3--DAYTON, Tenn. -- A state official said last week that Rhea County is advancing in a stateled economic development program, making the county eligible for more state and federal grants. "They are moving up a level," said Shan Harris, regional economic development specialist for the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. "I'll say that based upon what I see."
