QLD:McIver-Palmer ties don't trouble Newman
MISSION BEACH, Qld, Feb 3 AAP - Queensland's would-be premier says there's nothing
inappropriate about the relationship between his party's president and mining magnate
Clive Palmer.
The Australian newspaper has reported that Liberal National Party president Bruce McIver
was a director of one of Mr Palmer's mining companies until 2009, and continues to work
for one of his horse-breeding interests.
LNP leader Campbell Newman on Friday said there was nothing inappropriate about the relationship.
