NSW: Senior police ignored report which warned of gang wars = 2

Det Sgt Priest called for the officers who ignored the report to be brought to justice.

"It is reprehensible that the report was hidden, still remains hidden ... this was
an opportunity to make major inroads into organised crime into Cabramatta (and) it wasn't
acted upon," he told the Upper House Committee into Cabramatta Police Resources.

"It is almost criminal neglect that the strike force wasn't allowed to form, wasn't
allowed to act.
